Mount Rinjani on Lombok
Description
Rinjani Volcano on Lombok Island is a legendary destination for hikers. Trekking to summit takes 3 days and is recommended for people with hiking experience or good fitness.
Power and majesty of this volcano are impressive. Rinjani, second-largest volcano in Indonesia with a height of 3,726 meters, will be a good challenge. You'll experience not just a climb but a full hike with overnight stays in tents and delicious meals around campfire. We’ll walk for many hours each day to reach summit and enjoy breathtaking views.
From top we'll see picturesque scenes straight out of National Geographic magazine: stunning sunrises, fiery sunsets, mountain lakes, and volcanic craters. We'll even descend to one of lakes right in crater. You'll be amazed at beauty of our planet!
After a long climb and descent, we will rest in hot springs to recover.
