Secret route — “Jack's Black Lava”
(Only for real adventurers!)
Forget the hordes of tourists, the queues to the top and the noise of motorbikes — this route not sold in regular agencies and not found on popular sites. This is us author's and solitary path to the volcano Batur, which opens a completely different, live and present Bali
We will start on a special path — among the frozen black lava, smoking craters, lava fields, black sand and volcanic cracks, through which the earth still breathes. This is OPEN-AIR MUSEUM created by the element itself
How is this route different?
Total silence and privacy— you will not find columns of 50 people here, as on a standard ascent. Just you, a group of 4–10 people, your guide and the volcano
Maximum volcanic experience
We’ll see all 7 craters, follow the traces of the last eruption, where steam is still emitted, and make breakfast right in the ground, in a natural volcanic furnace
The path is not easy, but exciting— you will go through black lava slopes, climb the real top and discover the panoramic views of Lake Batur, Agung and Rinjani in the glow of the sunrise
A real adventure, not a “tour”— this route is suitable for those who want to feel the volcano with their whole body, live through the dawn, and not just "visit a point on the map"
Breakfast on top —natural, hot, vegan. Without buns from the supermarket — only fresh sweet potatoes, corn, bananas, fruits and cocoa cooked in volcanic “boiling water”.
The whole way is like shooting for a movie: from predawn darkness with lanterns on the forehead to the first rays of the sun dissecting volcanic steam. These are frames that will remain in memory for life

09.00 — Go to the hot springs to regain strength and relax
