Join us for a thrilling jeep safari to Batur, one of Indonesia’s most active volcanoes!

Rising to 1,717 meters, Batur is Bali’s second-largest volcano, offering breathtaking island views from the observation deck. At sunrise, the mist-covered craters, volcanoes, and lake create an enchanting scene.

Unlike typical volcano tours, this adventure doesn’t require hiking. Instead, you’ll explore in four-wheel-drive mountain jeeps, saving time and energy. Driving through desert and jungle terrain guarantees an unforgettable experience.

At the observation deck, enjoy the view, meditate, snap photos, or simply breathe in the fresh mountain air. We’ll also visit a lava valley from a 50-year-old eruption and a black sand site—must-see landscapes of awe-inspiring beauty.

Program

Day 1

Comfortable jeeps with professional drivers (3 passengers each).
Safety briefing before departure.

Schedule:
04:00 – Pick-up at the volcano's base.

Sunrise Point: Watch the dawn and enjoy breakfast at 1,300 meters.
Black Lava: Explore a lava valley formed decades ago.
Black Sand: End the journey on volcanic sand tracks.
09:00 – Return to the base for tea/coffee and a joyful farewell.

Payment and Cancellation

Payment:

To book a tour, you are required to make a deposit of at least 50% of the total cost.

(The remaining balance can be paid on-site directly to the guide or driver)

Payment methods:

— Bank transfer to the company’s account from any local bank
— VISA and MasterCard (secure payment via the major payment aggregator Xendit)
— Cash payment at any local bank branch or Alfamart store cashier (payment locations map available)
— Other payment methods through our partners

Transfers from remote areas are charged additionally.

The cost of the jeep is 2.250.000 IDR, it is paid on a fixed basis, regardless of the number of participants.

The price of 750.000 IDR is per person when the car is fully loaded (3 people)

Cancellation policy:

If cancellation of a private tour is made:

— From 180 to 31 days before the start date of the tour, 10% of the paid amount will be withheld.

— From 30 to 14 days before the start date of the tour, 30% of the paid amount will be withheld.

— From 13 to 4 days before the start date of the tour, 50% of the paid amount will be withheld.

— Less than 3 days before the start date of the tour, including the tour day or in case of no-show, 100% of the paid amount will be withheld.

If cancellation of a group tour is made:

— Payment for participation in group tours is non-refundable, except in cases where the tour is canceled by the organizer.

Refund policy:

— If the client does not pay the required amount within the established period, the contract and booking will be canceled.

— Refunds are made at the exchange rate set by Bank Indonesia on the day of payment.

— Refund review period — up to 5 calendar days from the date of request.

— Refund period — up to 14 calendar days from the date of approval.

The volcano and the weather conditions are unpredictable. Therefore, by paying and going on this trip, you agree to any weather conditions during the tour.

The jeep tour does not involve climbing to the highest point of the volcano which is 1717 meters

The sunset viewpoint is located at the height of 1300 meters

You have an opportunity to climb to the top for an additional fee of 300.000 IDR

You have an opportunity to visit the hot springs for an additional fee of 100.000 IDR
